Welcome to Glada Jyckar (”Happy Mutts”)! Together with us you and your dog can develop and have fun together! We offer companion dog training classes, seminars and lectures, individual training sessions and other exciting and educational dog related activities in several locations in Stockholm, for instance in Bromma, Årsta, Täby and also Online. At Ålstensgatan in Bromma we also have a small shop where you can find a selection of dog treats, toys, harnesses and leashes amongst other things. In addition, we offer behaviour modification consultations and trainings.
All our activities are based on positive training methods, prioritizing the dog’s well-being. Through well-planned exercises, we help dogs succeed and reinforce the behaviors we want to see. Using modern knowledge of canine behavior and needs, as well as foundational learning theory, our training is both effective and enjoyable. We are proud members of the ”Swedish Dog Entrepreneur Society” (www.sverigeshundforetagare.se), an industry organization for dog psychologists and professional dog trainers committed to positive training methods. We strictly avoid all aversive methods, including physical and mental threats or violence.
While most of our training classes are conducted in Swedish, we are happy to offer some classes in English, as well as individual training sessions in English. If you have a basic understanding of Swedish, you are welcome to join our Swedish training classes with the option of receiving partial support in English.
